🦋Set Up Your Co-Pilot

The Serene browser extension is a powerful tool designed specifically to assist mental health clinicians in their daily workflow. Acting as a co-pilot, it enhances productivity directly from the browser while seamlessly integrating with the broader Serene platform. It’s built to save time, minimize administrative overhead, and allow clinicians to focus on what truly matters—delivering exceptional care to their clients.

Installation And Signing Up

You can install the browser extension from the chrome web store here. You will be prompted to provide the required permissions for the extension to function.

Once you add the extension you will need to sign in from the extension to link to your existing Vybz Health account. If you do not have an account, this will automatically create one as soon as you log in.

You can view your installed extension by clicking on the "Extensions" icon on the top right corner of your browser. Scroll down to locate your Serene extension and tap on the pin icon right next to it to pin it to extension bar of your browser.

Once you launch the extension for the first time, you will be automatically prompted to log in via a popup. It will ask you to log into your Google account.

If you see a loading icon and do not see any pop-up asking you to log in, minimize your browser window. Often times, the pop up does not appear on top of the screen.

Transcribe Your First Session

Test out your extension by starting a meeting on Google Meet. You will see the Serene extension indicator as soon as your go to Google Meet.

Start an instant meeting and tap on the indicator to bring up the popup.

Click on start recording, Serene will ask you to share a tab. This process enables you to have complete control over your transcription process without accidentally sharing any data. Once Serene starts transcribing, you will see an indicator on top of the screen.

Once you are done with your session, click on "Stop sharing". Serene will upload your session details and start the transcription. You will be notified via an email as soon as the transcription is complete. It usually takes 5-10 mins for a transcription to complete.

Serene DOES NOT store audio or video data of your sessions. Once the transcription is complete and data is extracted from the session, all data uploaded by the extension will be deleted.

Your session notes would be available in your Notes section in your account. You can check out the notes here.
