πPending Notes
Pending Notes are automated summaries generated by Serene after a session. These notes capture critical details, including:
SOAP and BIRP Notes: Structured documentation of session details.
Automated Assessments: Insights such as Beck Depression Inventory (BDI) scores.
Additional Details: Observations on client emotions, voice tone analysis, and other relevant data points.
Pending Notes remain in a draft state until you review and approve them, ensuring you retain full control over your documentation. This feature not only saves time but also provides rich, data-driven insights to enhance the quality of care you provide.
Review Pending Notes

Your dashboard card will display a status about the number of pending notes which you need to review and also ongoing transcriptions. Once a transcription is complete, you will be notified via your email and a pending note for the transcription would be created for you to review.
Click on "View" to navigate to your notes page where you can see a list of notes that you need to review.
Editing A Note
Different fields in your note are editable. You can simply click on the pencil icon next to the fields to edit them.
The pencil icon will only be visible for a "Pending" note. If you do not see the icon, please ensure that the approved checkbox is unchecked

Approving A Note

After reviewing your notes, use the Approved checkbox to finalize them. Once approved, the notes will be locked for editing. If you need to make changes later, simply uncheck the Approved box, update the notes as needed, and then recheck the box to finalize them again.
Before you can approve a note, you need to enter an email address of your client. Email addresses are used to group notes together under client history.
Once a note is approved, Serene will automatically create a new client profile if one doesnβt already exist. All approved notes associated with that client will be organized and easily accessible under their profile for seamless reference and management.
